The Art of Design

Jennifer Charboneau

Bio:

Jennifer is an American artist whose work spans contemporary painting, large-scale murals, and live performance painting. Deeply inspired by travel, social environments, and the nuances of daily life, her art emerges from subtle observations—sketched in pen and captured in prose—then transformed into expressive abstractions of form and movement.

Her pieces, which she refers to as “Visual Philosophies,” marry bold, chaotic brushstrokes with intentionally vague forms, inviting viewers to bring their own experiences into the work. Often accompanied by haiku and prose, her practice blends the literary and visual into one immersive language.

Influenced by impressionism, expressionism, street art, jazz, philosophy, and the quiet art of people-watching, Jennifer considers herself a visual philosopher—absorbing the world’s beauty and complexity, and returning it to canvas in all its poetic chaos.
