Gene Dorgan serves as an Associate Professor in the Foundation Department at the College of Art and Design. With extensive expertise in painting and printmaking, Gene instructs students in courses such as Hands, Head, Feet; Form, Content and Context; and Color and Composition. He earned his MFA and BFA in Painting from Boston University in 1983 and 1981, respectively, and holds an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts from the University of Wisconsin Center-Richland, awarded in 1977.
